This was a rare and pleasent chance to illustrate my own book - 'What the Giants Were Saying' which was edited by my friend Aleksandra Furlan for Eibonvale Press. It is quite unusual for authors to illustrate their own books and it proved very worthwhile as both the text and the image fed each other. The writing suggested the image in the usual way, but also the image helped to suggest some aspects of the story as well.
