An unused black and white piece for the interior of the book. Very simple, but a preliminary to the more elaborate pieces produced later for books like The Smell of Telescopes.

 
Aquarium City was published by Coolbreath Press, who's website appears to be inactive. However, the book is still available on Amazon. It is a striking surreal and fantastical satire, a fairytale detective novel and a hallucinatory nightmare. As one of my first covers, it is a little rough around the edges - but still managed to capture some of the madcap comicbook nature of the story.
